Nice place with two updated bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable. Good Wi-Fi and tv services. The garage and fire pit are nice to relax in the evening. The front porch is also nice to sit out in morning with your coffee. The living room and dining room are nice and filled with old pictures of the surrounding areas. There are a brand new washer and dryer off of the kitchen. The kitchen is fully functional but hasn’t been updated like the rest of the house. I’m sure it’s on the owners list todo next. Not to be taken as a negative but just putting it out there.

There was everything here I needed. The access to the rental was very accomodating to me and my schedule. The staging of the rental was a great connection to its history and the area in which it is located. This was my first visit to the area and my visit far exceeded my expectations experiences I had anticipated. I will be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Adkins House! It has a charming blend of historical design, beautiful renovated bathrooms, comfortable beds and furniture. Location is great in the center of town. Walking distance to Ole #3 bar and restaurant, the Mine Tour and the ATV Trails right down the road. We enjoyed the private campfire area where you can watch the sunset. Plenty of parking space. Ben was a great host! The house had everything we needed.
